What Are Omega-3's? And Why You Should Supplement:

Omega-3’s are a group of fatty acids that only come from animal and vegetable fats. These are the “good” fats that are essential for cellular health, managing inflammation, etc.

The two most important, and well-known Omega-3’s are EPA and DHA.

Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA): This acid prevents blood clots, and reduces triglyceride levels in the blood – so it’s essential for maintaining optimal blood sugar levels.

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA): Like EPA, this is also essential to brain and heart health – even during fetal development. It’s also great for reducing inflammation and supporting muscle recovery after exercise.
